Aerial Yoga Classes

Please note you need to RENT or BUY a silk to participate in class. One time rental is $10, monthly rental is $20, or you can own your silk for $110+tax. Go to the "Products" tab (on desktop, not the Mindbody app) in our online store to rent or purchase a silk.

Aerial Yoga Essentials - Beginner (Required)

Come and learn the fundamental skills required to establish a safe and balanced aerial yoga practice.  The slow pace of this class will allow an aerial yoga novice to acclimate to the silk gradually and become more comfortable with working with the silk.  There is an opportunity to modify every pose to be in contact with the floor as desired. During this hour long class, you will be guided through standing postures using the silk as a prop, seated postures using the silk as a sling, and some simple inversions.  The class will conclude with an extended savasana while you are cocooned in the safety of your own silk hammock. Aerial Yoga Essentials is a prerequisite for attending any aerial yoga classes, unless prior approval by instructor.

Gentle Aerial Yoga

Float your way through a series of some familiar and some uniquely aerial yoga poses, while using the silk to support, explore, and even deepen your practice. Students will leave feeling nurtured and supported through this relaxing practice. This class is appropriate for those who want a softer and slower paced class, no previous experience required.

Aerial Yoga All Levels

Flow through a series of stretching and strengthening aerial yoga poses that are tailored to meet you at your level. As you move through the class, your instructor will offer both modifications and advancements, so you may honor your body and challenge yourself, as needed. This class is open to aerial yogis of all levels, so long as they have taken at least one Aerial Yoga Essentials class.

Functional Aerial Yoga Flow

Jump, hang, swing and remind your body of the way it was designed to move in this playful, strength-based class. Discover the benefits of focusing on the way your muscles and joints interact and align, as you complete full body movements and engage the deep stability muscles for better overall health and injury prevention. Class consists of a general warm-up, a series of familiar yoga poses using the silk as a prop, and fun functional movement sequences. Class ends with a well-deserved savasana. Aerial Yoga Essentials or prior instructor approval is a prerequisite to attend this class.

Morning Aerial Yoga Flow

Get moving, get centered and get on with your day. This morning flow will weave together a series of familiar aerial yoga poses to challenge your strength and balance, while helping clear and prepare your mind for the tasks ahead. All levels welcome.

Aerial Yoga Flow & Restore

Start your practice with a 45-minute aerial yoga flow to unwind the body and build heat in the muscles. Then, enjoy a 30-minute restorative sequence, focused on relaxing and releasing muscle tension, and ending with an extended savasana in a silk cocoon. Leave class with your mind and body primed for a good night’s sleep. Aerial Yoga Essentials or prior instructor approval required to attend this class.

Candlelight Restorative Yoga Hybrid
Slow down the workweek pace and set the tone for a relaxing weekend when you join our Friday night candlelight restorative hybrid aerial/mat yoga class.  This practice, appropriate for both the new and seasoned yoga practitioner, consists of holding specific yoga and aerial yoga postures for several minutes each.  The sequence of poses is designed to allow the body to gradually release muscle tension while the mind settles into a meditative state. Some of the poses will be made even more relaxing through the use of the aerial silk to support your body as you unwind and decompress. Leave class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.No previous aerial yoga experience required. **In order for you to have everything you need for a truly restorative experience, please bring the following from home, or be prepared to rent or purchase upon arrival:bolster (or very firm pillow, or two pillows shoved into one pillowcase), blocks (or two thick books), blanket (or 1-2 beach towels), and a strap (or belt/scarf).**
Aerial Yoga Strength & Conditioning
We have heard you loud and clear, you all want to get your body back to where it was before the pandemic began. We can help get you there! Join Victoria to improve your body's strength and agility, so you can return your aerial yoga skills to pre-pandemic levels. Victoria will guide you through a series of drills and exercises, using the aerial silk, that will focus on building the muscles and stamina you will need to find aerial poses off the floor with confidence and ease. No experience necessary. 
Aerial Yoga Deconstructed
This intermediate class is appropriate for aerial yoga students that are interested in furthering their practice by learning more challenging poses in a workshop style setting. Each month, we will break down an intermediate pose and learn a longer sequence working up to a peak pose. Warm up and strengthening will be geared towards the pose of the month. It is recommended that any yogi considering this class attend at least 5 regular aerial yoga classes, have a strong sense of comfort and safety working with the silk, and a strong level of fitness. 
Aerial Yoga Happy Hour
Ready to shake off the stress from a long week at work and kick off your weekend with some light-hearted fun? Come to this uplifting class and get happy as you flow through postures to fun and upbeat music. It's the perfect way to wrap up your week and put a smile on your face. All levels welcome. Warning: You might have too much fun!
Aerial Yoga Free Your Hips
This class will focus on releasing tension deep inside the hips and pelvis. Tight hips can stiffen the lower back, making walking, sitting or even sleeping uncomfortable. This aerial yoga class will allow you to open, massage and strengthen the hips, bringing both a deeper release and greater stability throughout the body. All levels are welcome.  Aerial Yoga Essentials or prior instructor approval is a prerequisite to attend this class.
Open Studio Time

Get the studio all to yourself and enjoy some private hang time. Open to more experienced practitioners, who can practice without a teacher's guidance.

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Landing at Hudson Mills.

There are three parking lots for the building. The back parking lot (accessed via Houghton Ct) is a little further away and will require a short walk up and down a flight of stairs to access the building.


There are two entrances to the building. If you enter from the front/main entrance, marked Building B-elevator entrance, the elevator is immediately on your left. Do not go in through the door marked Building C-Stairwell. If entering from the back of the building, follow the hallway signs to the elevator. We are on the 3rd floor, directly to the left of the elevator. See you there!
